Policy

Delivery policy

This page explains how delivery charges, timing, regional restrictions, and destination-specific considerations are handled, so customers can separate the policy terms from the everyday delivery guide.

Checkout confirms final rates Timing is guidance unless stated otherwise International rules can vary by market

What this policy covers

These points explain how delivery pricing and timing are interpreted, where final shipping decisions are confirmed, and what changes when a basket or region falls outside straightforward mainland delivery.

Pricing

Delivery costs are confirmed at checkout against your basket and destination

Public guide prices help set expectations, but the final delivery charge depends on the products in your basket, the service selected, parcel size, and the destination entered at checkout.

Timing

Estimated delivery windows are guidance, not guaranteed arrival times

Dispatch timing, courier capacity, weather disruption, bank holidays, postcode restrictions, and customs processes can all affect how quickly an order arrives after it leaves us.

International orders

Cross-border delivery may involve duties, taxes, and local import rules

Orders sent outside the UK can be subject to import charges or destination-specific handling rules. Those charges are controlled by the destination country and courier process rather than the policy page alone.

How customers should use this page

The simplest path is to use the delivery guide for expectations, then treat this page as the policy framework behind those expectations.

1

Review the delivery guide before ordering

Start with the delivery page to understand the typical service levels, destination guidance, and the kind of pricing customers usually see for their region.

2

Check the final service options at checkout

The checkout is where the exact delivery methods, timing, and charges are confirmed against the live basket and shipping address.

3

Use customer care for edge cases or destination-specific questions

If you are ordering to a restricted postcode, a remote region, or an international destination with special handling questions, customer care is the best route for a clearer answer before purchase.

Common delivery policy questions

These are the questions customers most often ask when they want to understand the terms behind delivery pricing, estimated timing, and destination-specific rules.

When is the final delivery price confirmed?

The final delivery charge is confirmed at checkout once the basket contents, service level, and destination are known. The public delivery page is there to guide expectations rather than replace the checkout calculation.

Are delivery times guaranteed?

Delivery windows are normally estimates unless a service is explicitly sold as guaranteed. Courier disruption, dispatch timing, severe weather, public holidays, customs, and regional restrictions can all affect timing.

Will international orders include duties or taxes?

That depends on the destination and the way the order is handled in transit. Some destinations collect duties or taxes before delivery, while others collect them on arrival. Customers should check their local import rules if unsure.
